FRED J. ENSOR

FRED J. ENSOR, of Arlington, was born in Rugby, England, on the 6th
of September, 1873. He is the son of John Flavel Ensor and Esther King. Mr. Ensor obtained his education in the public schools of Sutton, Coldfield, and in 1887 left England and came to the United States, settling first in Liverpool, Pa., afterward in Pittsburg in that State, and finally in Wheeling, W. Va. In 1891 he removed to Arlington, Hudson County, N. J., where he has since resided. For a time Mr. Ensor was successfully engaged in business as a contractor. He is now a dealer in paints, oils, etc., having one of the best known establishments of the kind in his section. In this as well as in other enterprises he has achieved success. He is a public spirited, patriotic citizen, actively identified with local affairs, and a member of the First Regiment, N. G. N. J. He is also a member of Pilgrim Lodge, No. 202, I. O. O. F., of Americus Council, No. 1,304, Royal Arcanum, and of the Rebekah order of Odd Fellows, all of Arlington. In politics he is independent.
