HENRY KARL, son of John and Wilhelmina (Zeitner) Karl, was born in
Germany on the 6th of July, 1869. There he received his education. He
came to America with his parents in 1883 and afterward settled in West
Hoboken, where he still resides. His first business was that of a barber in New York City. Subsequently he was a weaver in a silk mill. He is a Democrat in politics, a Justice of the Peace, a Commissioner of Deeds, and a Notary Public. He is President of the Young Democracy of the Third Ward, West Hoboken. Mr. Karl married Wilhelmina Loehr, daughter of Philip and Catherine Loehr. They have three children: Frederick, Minnie, and Amanda.
