RUBEN M. HART

RUBEN M. HART, of Hackensack, was born in Montreal, Canada, and
was educated at Nicolet and Jesuit Colleges. He graduated from McGill
University, and read law in Canada with Judge Cornwallis Monk and Sir
James Rose. He was admitted to the Montreal bar, but devoted himself
more to literature than to the practice of his profession, and finally, in 1882,
settled in Hackensack, N. J. [He was for seven years the official stenographer
of the Second Judicial District of New Jersey.??????] He was admitted as
an attorney in this State in June, 1889, and as a counselor in June, 1892.
