The Art House starts its second season off right with an exciting mix of visual art and spoken word! Art House Productions announces The Art House's Season Kickoff Event Sunday, October 5th, 2003 at 4pm FREE a performance night and open mic in conjunction with the Jersey City Artists Studio Tour Featuring Jersey City poets Sharon Griffiths and Al Sullivan Victory Hall 186 Grand St. at Marin Blvd. Jersey City, NJ (6 blocks from Grove St. PATH) Open mic follows for poets, actors, comics, and acoustic musicians. Each performer gets five minutes (sign-up sheet posted at the start of the evening). About Sharon Griffiths Sharon Lynn Griffiths has lived in cities all her life. She writes frequently about the places that have touched her - New York, Paterson, Newark, and Jersey City, where she currently lives (with the writer Al Sullivan) in a happy little house in the Heights. About Al Sullivan Al Sullivan is an award-winning reporter for the Hudson Reporter newspaper chain and the author of "Everyday People: Profiles from the Garden State" published by the University of Rutgers Press.
