FEATURING: Pushcart Prize nominee Ken McManus has been reading in the New York City area since 1995. The son of a retired Army officer, McManus has grown up in places as disparate as Berlin, GE and Granite City, IL. His influences range from the liner notes of Stevie Wonder to the fortunate force-feeding of Keats to a later discovery of jazz musicians such as Thelonious Monk and Charlie Parker. Ken is also an accomplished writer of prose, with two recent works of fiction out and one more on the way.
