JERSEY CITY STUDIO TOUR EXHIBIT AT GRACE CHURCH

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: FRIDAY AUGUST 20th
Grace Church Van Vorst, in downtown Jersey City, will be hosting WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO SAY?, an exhibit featuring the political voice of the art community during the Jersey City Studio Tour - October 2, 2004 through Nov 4, 2004. The show will be curated by Pro Arts Jersey City members Meredith Lippman and Jim Legge. There will be a special evening reception for the show on Saturday, Oct 2nd featuring performance, drinks, and food. Grace Church is on the corner of Second and Erie Streets, three blocks away from the Grove Street Path Station and seconds from the Holland Tunnel.

We are looking to pack Grace's space with a large open group exhibit with as many overt political expressions as possible. Subject matter is wide open: feel free to be as broad or specific as you like. We are looking to shake things up, fight complacency, and show that the artist community is not sleeping. Keep in mind that this show will be up for a full month prior to the presidential election.

You are invited to submit work already created, created just for the show, in collaboration with other artists, etc. All media is acceptable including but not limited to: painting, photography, sculpture, text, installation, and video.

Please submit by Friday, August 20th
1) an idea and/or picture/sketch with possible dimensions or jpg
2) slides if available
3) a written statement if you have something to tell us
