Loew's Jersey Theatre, the "most lavish temple of entertainment in New Jersey" presents a very special weekend celebrating the 40th anniversary of James Bond.
On Friday, May 3rd, we will screen "Goldfinger" at 7:30. On Saturday, May 4th at 2 PM, we present the seldom-revived "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" presented in Panavision on the giant, 50 foot screen. At 7:30, we present the one that started it all, "Dr. No." All prints are archival 35mm dye-transfer Technicolor, and look magnificent on the big screen with original carbon arc illumination. Plus there will displays of rare, original Bond memorabilia in the Grand Lobby.
The Loew's Jersey opened in 1929, and stands today as one of the finest surviving movie palaces in the Tri-State area. If you've only seen these films on television, or in some small revival theatre, don't miss this unique opportunity to experience them in the way they were meant to be seen: in a beautiful movie palace on the big screen!
For more information, please visit our website at www.loewsjersey.org. Tickets are only $5.00. Bring your friends, bring your family and enjoy the movie palace experience.
