:   The West Hudson Council for the Arts has joined forces with the Dawn Lau Dance Company to offer the following dance workshops in Rutherford.  The Dawn Lau Dance Company, a professional traveling teaching company, will offer the  following classes at Become One Yoga and Pilates Center,  42 Park Ave. second floor, Rutherford, NJ.

: Each session will run for 8 weeks on Wednesdays, starting March 8  to April 26.  Creative Movement for Children ages 3-5, 11  a.m.-11: 45 a.m., and 12 to 12:45 p.m., Beginner Ballet ages 5-6, 1:30  to 2:30 p.m.,  Ballet/Jazz Combination Class ages 6-8, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Introduction to Dance (2  weeks of ballet, 2 weeks of modern, 2 weeks of jazz and 2 weeks of hip hop)  ages 9-13, 5 to 6 p.m., and Modern Dance ages 7-13, 6 to 7 p.m. Please contact Dawn Lau at dawnlaudance@aol.com  or call West Hudson Council for the  Arts at 201-873-2537 for a registration form. 

:   The West Hudson Council for the Arts will offer another session of their  popular Painting/Drawing Class and Acting: Strictly Improv starting Saturday,  March 25 at Kearny Library, 318 Kearny Ave., Kearny, NJ. The Painting/Drawing class  runs for 8 weeks ages 7-13, 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and the acting class runs for 6  weeks for ages 7-13 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.  All art generated in class will  be exhibited at the May “Art in the Park”.
