LITM Gallery is pleased to announce Robert Piersanti “MERMAID-A-GOGO”. Opening
reception: Sat. June 3rd, 7pm – till closing
Show runs June 3rd - June 25th .

Robert Piersanti paintings combine pop culture themes, graphics, with snapshots of
striking subjects. His models are real people: Waitresses, bartenders, burlesque and
sideshow performers, d.j.s, and local tattooed beauties. The artist scours flea
markets and junk shops for artifacts that rekindle his colorful sixties childhood. The
juxtaposition of hand lettering, pop graphics, and retro flavors, are a testament to
the beautiful circle of past to present.

The artists recent shows have included CBGBs Gallery, N.Y.C., 18 Erie Gallery, Jersey
City, N.J., BAMA Gallery in Hoboken, N.J., and the Milan, Italy 2005 flash art show.
