Middlesex–New Brunswick–Old Bridge–Matawan – Old Bridge
OLD BRIDGE, 16.2 miles (100 alt., 1,020 pop.), was a station stop on
the old Camden and Amboy division of the Pennsylvania R.R., the first
line built in the State. Anheuser-Busch, Inc., has a yeast plant here. The
town is a small cluster of houses with a general store and a few other
shops, lying in the small valley of Manalapan Brook.
