EWINGVILLE, 46.6 miles (140 alt.), a small suburb of Trenton, was
once called Cross Keys because of a tavern by that name.
At 46.8 miles are (L) the recently completed red brick buildings of the
STATE TEACHERS COLLEGE. Of modified Georgian Colonial design, they
are set in a grove of trees about 300 yards from the road.
State 30, which follows Pennington Ave., leads to the Battle Monument, landmark near the center of Trenton.
