MIDDLESEX, 19.5 miles (50 alt., 3,504 pop.), has a number of green-houses. Several are seen R. of the highway, which parallels Green Brook.
The YOUNG NURSERIES (R), 19.7 m., rank as one of the world's largest producers of orchids and gardenias. More than 500,000 orchids and
between 50,000 and 100,000 bunches of a dozen gardenias each are sent
out yearly from the 40-acre plant.
At 20.2 miles is the junction with State S28 (see Tour 13).
