Oceanville

OCEANVILLE, 92.2 miles (30 alt., 313 pop.), is a country village spread along the highway.

Between Oceanville and Absecon there are occasional glimpses of Atlantic City, seen across Reed's Bay (L) between billboards and hotel signs. What appears to be an overgrown telephone pole just N. of the hotel towers is ABSECON LIGHTHOUSE.

At 95.1 miles US 9 swings diagonally R. to by-pass the business sections of Absecon, Pleasantville, Northville, and other communities on the mainland between Absecon and Great Egg Harbor.

At 96.1 miles is the junction with US 30 (see Tour 23).

At 99 miles is the junction with US 40 (see Tour 24).
