PENNSGROVE, 81.2 miles (12 alt., 5,895 pop.), is the southernmost town of consequence along the New Jersey shore of the Delaware River. The community has a motion-picture house, a bustling shopping district, and a large residential section. By situation and common industrial interests, Pennsgrove is closely linked with Wilmington, Del., across the river. (All-year ferry service leaving Pennsgrove hourly 6 a.m. to midnight; car and driver 75 cents, passengers 5 cents each. Messages received for patrons.)
