My initial impression was that someone placed the first message as a lark, but that it was generating -- like graffiti -- more off topic posts.

I was more than a little surprised to read the claim that this was some sort of stab at a coordinated effort.

I'm still not quite sure, is SAY SO LONG WE ARE NOT COMING BACK! stating that this action was by (or on behalf of) a neighborhood organization? Is this a secret society? Why not identify yourself and your group? Were all of the 350 members asked to post here and only three did so?

The purpose of this Message Board is to provide a vehicle so that people can express their opinions/observations (anonymously, if they so desire) on Hudson County Politics --
AND to be able to see what others think: a conversation. Anybody who attempts to flood the Board (in effect, denying others the opportunity to post), will find their messages deleted.

By the way, my only agenda, as a resident of Jersey City, is that I want what's best for Jersey City.

Below you'll find the VERBOTEN "thread." Let me know what you think:

(More lyrics from John Lennon's song, "Imagine," appeared in the original.

: Let me tell you all where it is at here on good old GETNJ.

: Today a few of us did a test to see where "A.O." head was.

: This is the results we posted words from peace songs sweet, nice, political peace songs( even checked with ASCAP to make sure no copy right infringements and yes,it was all okay.)
: The reason why this was done was to see if the Site owner whose name I will not post is objective or one sided. The posts, we did.."Imagine" by the Beatles "Give Peace a chance" etc. etc... were all deleted. Unlike the 3 people posting we all care very much about JC and want peace. You A.O. once did but you sold your soul and BTW I am a Schundler fan. Therefore, my goal is not to protect Cunningham or Menendez.
: So the outcome of our little test is this is just a one sided non-objective site. I am out of here and so are the 350 people who are on the neighborhood association’s mailing list.
: You see this conjured up by many to see if this was true. (yes a few people did not get the heads up so they would not let it out.)
: Therefore, as of this posting this site just lost a whole lot of Jersey City people. You own this site you pay for it and you do what you want...Your happy you had so many visitors well you just lost a chunk.
: Enjoy fighting with yourself we are all out of here….see ya!
