Concerning Peter Weiss. All I can say is that the viciousness towards him & each other is appalling.

I will say this about Peter though.

Though Peter no longer lived in Jersey City, he still continued his life here. No matter how objective he as a reporter was supposed to be, it is inevitable that a part of him made it into what he wrote.

As I am sure is the case with many of us, sometimes I agreed with him & sometimes I thought he was off somewhere in left field...sleeping. But I looked for those columns just to see what his spin was.

Either way, he accomplished his goal...make us laugh, make us so mad as to crumble up the paper & throw it across the room, make us think.

I, for one, will miss him.
