If Cunningham wants to break even in this thing, he better stop playing the ostrich.

He's got to engage the media -- or at least try. His staff isn't giving them anything to go on.

One guy tells me, "The other side gives me ALL the pieces of the puzzle that Menendez wants the public to see. I go to Cunningham's office for their take on the situation. I don't get a call back. I don't want to report just one side. Finally, I say, 'Screw it.' This isn't New Journalism and I'm not Cunningam's Press Agent. If his guys don't want to tell me what Glenn's thinking, I'm not going to play Fill InThe Blanks."
