Does anyone know how much it cost to rent Continental Arena for the Teacher Convocation??? How do they justify spending money like this for motivational meetings when they've cut back: After-school programs, field trips, teacher assistants - resource teachers, classroom supplies, etc., etc., etc. There are over 30 children in some classrooms, with the average of about 22 students. I really want to know how much they spent on this. I also want to know whether it's true that Mr. Epps purchased hard cover books for every teacher in J.C. for Reading Across America - for the sole purpose of reading an exerpt for 15 minutes . They could have made copies and saved tons of money. I'm not sure of the exact amount, but I heard the books were over $20 a piece. I'd also like to know who the author is and if he's an associate of Mr. Epps. Taxpayers and Parents ---- get informed. Your money's being wasted and your kids are suffering.
