Way back when, I knew somebody who was in a pissing contest with Congressman Menendez's predecessor: Frank Guarini. Figgering to get some leverage against Guarini, the guy goes partners in his business with an African-American friend. Calling for the cavalry, this new partner goes around to the different African-American organizations. He gets the runaround. After a while, a longtime friend in one of these groups describes the facts of life, "Look. I'm going to tell you outright. If it comes down to it being between you and Congressman Guarini, IT AIN'T GONNA BE YOU!" Since G. D. Cunningham, is close to their hearts, it's going to take a while for these advocacy organizations to work up steam, but when it comes down to the line, history is going to repeat itself here.

: Not IF but WHEN!

: : If Cunningham loses Ward F to Degise this time, three ducks are going to be limping down Grove Street.
