The Congressman from Scarinci and Hollenbeck was in town quite a bit in the last week or so. It was heavy schedule of Hispanic oriented events, or it may have been an urgent meeting in the situation room of Organized Crime central. The heavily attended meeting, like the Appalachin conference of Hudson County politics, convened in the office of County Executive Tom DeGise. The rumor mill is cranking away overtime with each day that passes without an explosion from the Feds in Newark.

Seismologists say that the longer the period between eruptions the greater the destructive force when the volcano finally does blow its top like Mt. St. Helens. The tension mounts, so Organized Crime convened on DeGise’s office possibly for some comic relief. Our moles deep within the bowels of the beast tell us that the big excitement these days is the new shower DeGise just had installed in the bathroom in his office. Intelligence has filtered back to us that DeGise, one of whose nicknames amongst his myriad of drinking buddies is “Dirty Neck” was going to demonstrate his new shower for the political who’s who. We are enormously relieved he did not install a bidet. Or maybe that’s next.
