What will Jersey City do for Taxes when DTC moves to Florida and all the jobs go to India? The leaders of Jersey City if there are any better start to figure out how to attract business to the City and it better be good real good. The value added of being in a close proximity to lower Manhattan will vanish all the back-office jobs will be taken to India. So where are the tax dollars coming from, the answer nowhere in 2005. So refinance the debt and actually build an infrastructure that is world class so you can attract business and taxes. Jersey City needs to stop adding the corruption taxes now paid by business via the un-official network. The real world is competing for the same tax dollars and jobs remove the friction of corruption build the systems that sustains stop lining your pockets. The people need leadership with vision. What value is there in being in Jersey City besides being close to Manhattan? A good point to start would be to separate from Hudson County and form a new county.
