: I wish to take this opportunity to wish everyone on this forum a happy, healthy 2004.

: 2003 was a bumpy road, city, county, state, nationally & globally. It can only get better as we try to come to grips with the stength & frailties that make us all human.

: So as one year closes & another opens, let us be thankful for our brave men & women overseas. They are there because of their abiding belief that the Maker did endow men with certain inalienable rights, among them life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness.

: Let us be thankful for the men & women of the police & fire depts. We hold them to a higher standard because they answered a higher calling - that of protecting us. We all too often are very critical when they sometimes fail, we forget they, too, are just like us.

: Let us be thankful & optimistic for the little gains we have made. For if we fall into despair & lose hope, we will lose everything. Do a little "hoo-doo" dance & banish the negativity around you.

: A hug & kiss for everyone.

: May we all be here in 2004 to laugh, cry & drive each other absolutely nuts with truth, lies & innuendo.
