Battle of the signs

We've got a real battle of the signs going on in Jersey City.

The Menendez / DeGise group is plastering the town with high quality posters -- that the Cunningham people are ripping down.

Not to be outdone, the Menendez / DeGise guys are plastering the Hartnett signs with bumper-size stickers (in a range of gaudy color, yet) that scream BACKSTABBERS - Same old Cunningham.

Around the Administration building and Five Corners, Cunningham is platering the poles with this sign: STOP "BOSS" MENENDEZ.

I'm suprised that Cunningham has the manpower for his signocide crusade.

I wonder how Senator Toricelli feels about having the signs with his name on it littering the gutters? Not like the Torch has any sort of primary challenge jitters, but he is gonna need every iota of name recognition buildup for November
