Degise, I've never seen him ever nowheres except at city hall. I even knows a guy who was supposed to have him as a teacher or a counselor on paper anyway in high school but never saw the guy in the building even. It always being a substitute on the job.

: Jersey City Mayor Glenn Cunningham says that Councilman Bill Gaughan's job as Chief of Staff to the Hudson County Executive is a conflict of interest and is asking a Superior Court Judge to remove Gaughan from office. A lawsuit filed by Cunningham today is set to be heard by Judge Maurice Gallipolli in Hudson County on March 19. The Cunningham forces say that Gaughan's post as a top aide to County Executive Thomas DeGise -- a political rival -- puts him "in an irreconcilable conflict of interest with his job as Ward D Councilman. The conflict arises from the fact that he cannot hold both positions at the same time because there are issues where the County and the City could potentially be adverse to each other." (01/27/04)
