We all knew that this bond scheme was just a veiled attempt by the administration to justify their feud with the majority of the City Council. What really angers me is that the Mayor used the city workers and their families as pawns in his game. Well Mayor Man...you blinked and lost. All of Jersey City, in fact, all the 31st Senate District now sees you for what you are...a bully!! You threatened good people with ficticious layoffs and threatened tax payers with a tax increase...RECALL CUNNINGHAM NOW! This trickery should not and cannot be tolerated...not by Cunningham and crew and not by anyone else either. We need real leadership in Jersey City and it's painfully obvious that Cunningham can't provide us with the leadership that we need. I'm not a big supporter of the HCDO but Cunningham has sunk to lows I have never seen in my years in Jersey City. You can bet that I will not be voting for his re-election and will encourage everyone that I come into contact with to vote for anyone but Cunningham. I applaud the City Council members who held out and kept the long term best interest of the tax payers and workers at heart and didn't use them as political fodder in their feud with the Mayor. I'm waiting to see how Cunningham and crew spin this one. : I was right when i said the Bond Deal by Cunningham was a scam on the Taxpayers of Jersey City.It would have cost the Taxpayers million s of Dollars over the life of the Bond Deal.Congrats,to most of the council people for doing the thing. But not you steve Lipski.you have a lot of explaining to do to the ward C taxpayers.Cunningham also has a lot of explaining to do for scaring the taxpayers and workers half to dead.
