JERSEY CITY - The Jersey City 9-11 Memorial Committee is sponsoring a memorial service at 10 a.m., Sunday, May 23, 2004, at the temporary memorial site located at the foot of Grand Street and the Hudson River Waterfront.

The service, which will include a mass and speakers, is expected to last for two hours. It is being held the weekend prior to Memorial Day due to the high volume of travelers who will leave town on the holiday weekend.
