I wish to extend my condolences to the family of Glenn D. Cunningham.

As a U.S. Marine, Jersey City Police Officer, Councilman, Federal Marshal, Mayor, and State Senator, Mayor Cunningham gave a lifetime of service to the people of Jersey City. In particular, I will never forget the leadership he provided in the aftermath of the horror of 9/11. The entire nation should remember him for this.

Through many decades of work, Glenn lives on. Because of the fine example he provided to young people, Mayor Cunningham's faith and enthusiasm will never leave Jersey City.
