That's exactly what I meant. I know full well the meaning of the word "primogeniture". My comment was directed at shortee who said that the Senate seat should go to Sandy (as if this seat was inheritable). I brought up the fact that there was a son who should be entitled to claim a piece of the inheritance (if we use shortee's logic, of course).
