Heard the latest of the going ons over at the 325 Palisade Avenue City Hall outpost? Seems that a couple of "entrepreneurs" were running a little side business selling (to one, to all) GAS MASKS!

It's not exactly sure what was the source of the supply . . .the units were being peddled at $5 a pop. . .

Mayor Cunningham, on learning of this new effort at privatization, ordered the pricipals to CLOSE UP SHOP!

One customer was somewhat disappointed to see in the fine print that the gas mask was rated for 1 1/2 MINUTES!!! Rumor has it that the filter can be "rejuvenated" by URINATING ON IT!!! (Is this some sort of gender bias?) I hope your bladder didn't let loose at the first whiff of a gas attack. Another reason to drink 8 glasses of water a day?
