If Manzo is trailing O'Dea...who hasn't even indicated interest in running, and Manzo has his platform as an elected Assemblyman, MANZO is in trouble already. But this is no surprise since he doesn't seem to understand the fundamentals of building a strong organization. Manzo only won his assembly seat through the efforts of Cunningham and his crew. But then he tried to make believe he did it all on his own. Manzo is a lousy speaker, has no passion, has not presented any new ideas, and still trails a guy who hasn't even indicated any interest in running for Mayor. This should be a wake up call to anyone thinking about jumping on his bandwagon. With Healy only 6% behind which could statistically mean only 2%, Manzo is in serious trouble. Healy is a likeable guy with no political debts to repay ... yet. And even if he isn't completely independent of the HCDO, at least he shows some passion when he talks about the role of the Mayor in crafting and delivering a bright future for the residents of JC. If Manzo hopes to have a chance of pulling it off this time he had better come up with a comprehensive platform (not just brownfields BS over and over again). And he has to deliver his views with some passion. : A source close to one of the major camps leaked this poll to me : : Odea 21% : Error +/- 3%
