I'd be interested in see/hearing exactly how the poll was conducted. Hudson County has two questionable traditions in polls. The one is the push poll. In 97, a telephone poll was conducted asking first which candidate you preferred. When I answered Schundler, I was asked if I was aware of his connection to far Right Wing figures like Newt Gingrich and if that was going to affect my vote. I don't know if there was any sort of followup question if you aswered with Healy as your choice. The other long standing tradition is for the pollster to come up with whatver results the patron wants -- as luck would have it. It seems that many prominent figures are happy to pay large sums to consultants who don't challenge their views. : I was told the undecided vote was for a RDC (Sandra Cunningham) if she was running. I was also told thats how the question was asked for the poll. That she was undecided on running , would you still vote for her ? : : Why didn't get numbers for any of the possible Reform Democrat candidates? : : : A source close to one of the major camps leaked this poll to me : : : : Odea 21% : : : Error +/- 3%
