The only thing about Menendez that remains Hispanic is his name. He has been so asimilated into the Washington political machine that he's forgotten his roots in his community. Put him in the mid-west and don't tell anyone his last name and they'll swear he's a good ole boy from Kansas. And unfortunately that's how he's conductedhimselfin Congress too. As for Ayala....he's just a bad memory. A blip on the political radar screen. A footnote in the history of JC politics. : After shooting the snark, the hunter disappeared. : Wasn't Bill Ayala going to take the hunt for Menendez to the halls of Congress? I saw Menendez on TV the other night. Where's Bill Ayala been of late? : Something Congressman Menendez could see on the horizon is a challenger in North Hudson who promises to champion Latin American issues more vigorously. In effect, Menendez's convention speech coming back to haunt him. : : : Some pretty wild conspiracy theories there guy. Wild being a euphemism for dumb. Some assumptions based on wishful thinking too. Menendez losing ground in Washington? I think not. And there will be 2 mayoral elections before the County Exec is up again. But maybe if you close your eyes and tap your heels together 3 times and wish real real hard you can make it all come true. Its your only shot.
