: Story was making the rounds a few years back about some gal hired as assistant to the aide (or aide to the assistant) by Bobby J.  She came in for a few days but didn't seem to like the job and just stopped showing up at good ol' 595.  Everybody in the same office just figgered that she had moved out and on to bigger and better things.

: A couple of years later, just a  week after Bobby J dropped out from sight, the woman's letter of resignation appeared.  It turned out that she had continued on the payroll at $85k per annum unbeknownst to her "co-workers."

: : You people should be applauding this guy for having the guts to call a spade a spade. The Gaynors have been on the political dole for too long and should be (like someone said on this board a while back) FLUSHED FROM THE POLITICAL PIPES OF JERSEY CITY just like Bill Ayala was. We don't need the Gaynors s-cking us dry like the leaches they are. The next guy or woman in the Mayor's office will need some help from Roter Rooter to dislodge some of these crustations.
