Yes, What united the Cunningham faction was not the message of reform, but Glenn himself. Glenn was able to show he was a leader who could unite a group who usual didn't come out in Mayoral elections. He was able to successful capture those voters becuase of his background. Unfortately, there is none elese who can jump in a fill his shoes, nor will there be anybody. The minions around Glenn were there not because of his vision, but what table scrapes fell off his table. With his death, so went the reform as his posse went after the best political deals. Let's not foprget they also beat a very weak and wounded regular Democratic Party, which was trying to rebuild and had lost sight of what they were once about also.
