Up here in the Northern hinterlands of Jersey City, two candidates are currently in view.

The Healy group has a storefront on Central Avenue (as luck would have it?) just down the block from Garden State News on Bower Street. There's a big sign in the window of the Healy Hq. letting everybody know that Jerry Healy's got the Heights one-two punch of DeGise and Gaughan watching his back.

Lou Manzo has been stomping the Heights pavement. I ran into him on Central Avenue. I understand that yesterday evening he was on Griffth Street with a couple of dozen supporters. Too bad they didn't knock on my door. I would have taken a picture to post here. Maybe the orange van scared them! One house on the block did put Manzo For Mayor signs in every window -- the first of the Mayor race signs that I've seen in a private residence.

Anybody see the rest of the pack hereabouts? Did I just miss them or don't we count? Mebbe, they're saving the best for last!
