What the Governor did was no worse than what goes on all the time in NJ politics. Officials routinely put their friends and family members into high paying jobs at the taxpayer's expense without the qualifications to do the jobs that they are given.

I think what McGreevey did was wrong but no more wrong than what Gaughan, Smith et al have done. Show me one council person who hasn't appointed a friend or family member or who didn't use their position to get a job for a friend or a family member.

Bernie Kenney needs to resign and Bob Menendez needs to just go away.
