The Hudson County Democratic Organization has filed a lawsuit to freeze the campaign funds of Jersey City Mayor Glenn D. Cunningham, a candidate for state Senate, and his allies for other offices in the June Democratic primary.

The suit alleges that various Cunningham fund-raising organizations "have routinely ignored and violated" state campaign finance report filing requirements.
