Clearly, McGreevey's mistake in judgement was in giving a very important job to someone who wasn't qualified. It would have been just as wrong if the person in question was a woman, a relative, or a campaign contributor.

There is a whispering campaign at work in the Jersey City's Mayor race. I'm not responsible for that. My editing the posts won't stop it. One of the purposes that the Board serves is to allow people to see what each candidates' organization is saying beyond their campaign literature.

The cure for bad information is more good information -- not censorship.
