The images of the Hudson County GOP reflected activity at the recent convention in New York City. I'd already scheduled yesterday as the end of the photo run. Again, ALL are welcome to post images at the Board -- as long as the pictures directly relate to Hudson County Politics. If you need help doing so, then e-mail me. As stated before, with a little energy and imagination, the Board can be used for a wide range of posts concerning national politics. You can post at the Board to schedule meet-ups, announce the opening of local offices, local events, local fundraisers, and local appearances. You can post comments from local political figures on the national race. You can post pictures of local people with state and national candidates. Opinion, blather, and parroting of talking points on the national campaign is not allowed. All crude and/or sexually graphic posts get the ax. Think what you see is pretty bad? You oughta see what gets erased! Sorta funny the line about my being arrivee. I've lived here virtually all of my life. My family has been in Jersey City for many generations -- from the time of the Indians if a family history is factual. In terms of percentages, the Hudson County GOP is insignificant. In terms of individuals, there are more Republicans in Hudson County than there are in some solidly Republican Counties. Though GOP candidates have little hope here. I want the many individual Hudson County Republicans to realize that they are not alone and that the Hudson GOP is not unknown to the Party throughout the rest of the Country. A basic function of any Party is to provide focus -- a communal hearth. A Party should be a mechanism for the individual to connect with the rest of the community, with ideas, and with communities all over the Country. I DO hope to shame the local Democrats into getting off their collective duffs and working to creat a vehicle to interact with the people. My perception is that not only are Hudson Dems not doing that, but, they are actively trying not to do that! Alas, my priority is content. Beautification and graphic razzle dazzle will have to wait. GETNJ.com averages over 4,000 visitors a day. A couple of weeks ago, during the James E. hubbub, the Site served over 7,000 people per day. : Oh, has Uberhippy taken offense? : Note how the direction has suddenly changed from how lame the site is to attacks on political figures and Uberhippy's quest for truth and justice. : Your Handle says it all, you move into Jersey City thinking you can change the world. : You cry how bad these politicians are and then on the other side you exercise the same type of authority within your own thiefdom on this site. : Stop being selective over the posts you want to censor and stop with the HCRP photos, no one care and frankly they are not the saviors either. They are all the same. This site has turned into th Arrango show in the last two weeks and well this is not going to be the place to post about Arrango. : Point is they are all the same. : Clean up the site, make it more appealing visually, stop with the selective censorship and you will have a great site.
