For Immediate Release: Contact: Tony Bawidaman Jersey City: Today, in the Hudson County Superior Court Judge Olivieri ruled that Glen Cunningham can no longer spend out of the Political Committee account which he has been running his campaign out of. Judge Olivieri ruled that the Cunningham Campaign can no longer send direct mail, distribute handouts, hang sign or pay workers from the Jersey City Reform Democratic Organization, any printed mail or materials that have bee printed prior to this day cannot be used for this campaign and must be destroyed. "Cunningham's flagrant disregard for the law has caught up to him. He just realized today that if you break the law there are consequences to that. He thought since he was a former law enforcement official he could break any laws he wanted and today he got caught," said Javier Inclan, Executive Director of the Hudson County Democratic Organization. "I think the Cunningham campaign is realizing that crime does not pay. Essentially the courts stopped his campaign dead in its tracks. This definitely changes the outcome of the campaign. Now that Cunningham cannot spend any more of his campaign dollars it puts him at a huge disadvantage," said Tony Bawidamann, Campaign Manager for the 31st Legislative District. ###
