Rival Dems still can't agree on court ruling

There's nothing like a clear-cut court decision to settle a dispute.

"Cunningham Triumphs, Again!!!!!" declared a Democrats for Hudson County press release, following yesterday's continuation of a court hearing on campaign funding. "Judge Dismisses Frivolous Lawsuit Against Campaign."

That's unambiguous. A big win for Democrats for Hudson County and Jersey City Mayor Glenn D. Cunningham's campaign for the Democratic nomination for state Senate in the 31st District, right?

Oops, here's another press release: "Judge Rules: Cunningham Can No Longer Spend Money Out of Political Account," it declares. "Cunningham out of touch and now out of money."

Was there another case going on in another courtroom yesterday? Nope, it's the same case - but with a different interpretation of the result, just like the last time the issue came up.
