Yesterday, a chicken greeted Mayor Cunningham at City Hall and got the mayor to agree to a debate. Today, a chicken will confront City Council member Harvey Smith on why he won’t debate.

A chicken will be present at City Hall at 5:30pm and the chicken will attend the last Jersey City Council meeting before the election next Tuesday. The meeting is open to the public and officially begins at 6pm. A Militello for
State Senate spokesperson will also be available for questions as well.

We received personal attention from both Councilman Smith and Mayor Cunningham on Tuesday and we expect a similar response today.

I do hope that you will be able to stop by and grab -- what will be an excellent photo opportunity and a great story. It is very important that the voters begin to realize that elections should focus on issues not personalities.
