Nidia Davila-Colon: The longest-serving member of the Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Davila-Colon, 49, of Jersey City, is accused of passing $10,000 in bribes from Dr. Oscar Sandoval, a Union City psychiatrist with whom she had a personal relationship, to disgraced former Hudson County Executive Robert Janiszewski in 1999.

Robert Janiszewski: Former Hudson County executive, he has admitted accepting more than $100,000 in bribes during his 13-year tenure in office. After pleading guilty in October to extortion, Janiszewski is now the star witness for the federal government in Davila-Colon's trial, where he has testified that she passed money to him from Sandoval in 1999 and on other occasions in the mid-90s.
