I'm an undecided voter who wants to hear about issues that are affecting not only me but everyone who lives here. Personally, I don't care if Healy is a drunk or anyone is anything else...I want to know where they stand on the real issues. I called you a hack because you wrote that Healy is a drunk. Again...who really cares...it's his liver, not yours and not mine. If he wants cirrhosis so be it. As for the rest of the country not being corrupt, you're correct but Hudson County and Jersey City is...it's our own fault for electing the same cast of characters time after time. If they mess up, we should not vote for them again. We should, in fact, toss them out of office on their behinds. If the officials are corrupt then we are at fault for giving them new terms. They're always going to do what's best for them and God help the rest of us. We've got to take back this city and county and it starts with you and me. : Oh really! I'am just a citizen who reads the newspapers and observers first-hand what's going on. Is it the average citizen who speaks out against the corruption going on in HC the problem or is it the elected officals and corrupt buracrats? : Sorry, the entire country is not run by corrupt officials. When you talk about corrupt places, HC takes the cake, hands down. : You admit the city and county are in troubl. Whose fault is that? Average citizens or the elected officials? : And if you didn't know, the founders of this great country crafted a document called the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Freedom of Speech is one of those rights, and I plan on exercising that right until the corrupt officials in HC are all in jail, (make room Bobby J ) your successors will be following soon. : And whose payroll are you on? : : This problem didn't start with Menendez and won't stop if he were to lose power. It is unfortunately endemic and has been a stain on America for years. The problem will start if people like yourself stop posting what amounts to dung and start discussing issues. : : In case you haven't noticed, this city and county are in deep trouble. What has your guy got that's going to fix things...or is he just trying to find another way to line his (and your) pockets? : : : YOU ARE CORRECT, hc/jc IS THE LAUGHING STOCK OF NEW JERSEY. : : : SECONDLY. MENENDEZ WILL TAKE A BIG HIT IF HEALY ISN'T ELECTED MAYOR, SO LETS START HERE, DON'T VOTE FOR HEALY BECAUSE HE'S A DRUNK, DON'T VOTE FOR HIM BECAUSE HE MEANS THE STATUS QUO WILL CONTINUE. : : : ONE STEP AT A TIME. : : : : : Where is the serious discussion of the issues that face the residents of Jersey City. You go to these fools' website and there is nothing there of any real substance. : : : : : Why do the people of Jersey City keep putting up with this? Now that we know who all the candidates are, when is there going to be a public debate so all of us who care about issues and not mudslinging gossip can learn something that may sway our undecided votes to a candidate? : : : : : Now you got the republicans endorsing the democrats...what's next? Why is Jersey City such a one-trick pony town? Guys...this pony is tired and the trick is no longer amusing. If you can't find a way to discuss something that is of real concern to people, quit posting because you're wasting time and driving potential voters away from all your candidates. : : : : : Take a dare...post something that will be of some use to the rest of us. If you have to curry favor with a candidate by blasting away at another candidate instead of talking about serious issues you aren't contributing anything of any value to Jersey City. : : : : : If this is the best that we've got, then it's a small wonder Jersey City is like a banana republic!
