You really hit the nail on the head. I moved here from Chicago too and this place sickens me! I've always heard the Hudson County was legendary but I had no idea til I moved here.

: I come from Cook County. That's Chicago for those of you who don't know how to use a map. Now I live here because I got transferred to NYC. Being from Chicago I'm used to low-blow politics. I'm used to charges of patronage and other political junk. But you folks here in Hudson take the cake.

: In Cook County we followed the slow demise of Hudson County as a democratic power base for the past 10 years. First with that McCann guy going to jail. Then with Schundler.. a REPUBLICAN... getting the support of the County Dems. Its no wonder that you now have one of his proteges as County Executive.

: I find it amazing that the State Democrats haven't stepped in to take away the patronage jobs of any Democrat from this community. As Democrats you people are a disgrace. You ought to hang your heads in shame.

: In Cook County we throw some mud, and even some tar and feathers now and then. But most of it has some basis in truth or fact. You people call each other such vile things and attack people's parents and children. Its a disgusting display of the worst in Democratic politics. Jersey City... you get what you deserve.

: Maybe your ex-Mayor McCann ought to be allowed to run the city again. At least then you'll know who to keep an eye on.
