In the spirit of my uncle, the late Freeholder Hank Gallo, I am supporting and endorsing Willie Flood for mayor of Jersey City. Willie Flood will lend to City Hall a women's touch in tidying up the corrupt system that has kept Jersey City down for the past several months. I would hope that Ms. Flood gets all the support from the Cunningham legacy constituency, and I pray that she does well in the election and achieves the status of the first African-American woman mayor of Jersey City. Willie Flood transcends all race, gender, socio-economic and racial boundaries.

A lifelong educator, friend of the seniors, and a dedicated Democrat, Willie Flood has the credentials to be an effective mayor of Jersey City.

It is my privilege and honor to support Willie Flood for mayor of Jersey City.

Best of luck to Willie Flood and her campaign staff, and remember, "After the storm comes the FLOOD."
