The word is out that Gerry McCann has brought in that tag team of political corruption, Ed Deak and Chuck Davis, to work on the Manzo campaign.

Deak was the head of the ABC during Merry Gerry's first term. When Cucci got in it was found out that the ABC cupboard was bare, like a fan had blowed all the cash right out the window. Investigators knew that Deak was the fall guy, but he refused to testify, laying the blame for the missing funds on heavy drinking.

When Deak was let out of the pokey, impressed with this McCann official's silence and loyalty, Chuck Davis took him in under his wing, supposedly to work for a pet fish business. The pet fish business was a front. As head of the Sewerage Authority, Chuck Davis was shaking down contractors and using the fish business to launder the money. One of the contractors -- previously convicted in a Hudson County Mafia trial revolving around a plot to murder John Gotti -- turned informant against Chuck Davis. To his credit, Davis zipped his lip, but he should of just said he was guilty and did the time. Instead, Deak and Davis tried to claim that the money came from selling goldfish and mollies, though they had no receipts and no list of customers. The story that they insulted the intelligence of the court with was that Deak just rode around NYC and sold the fish out of the trunk of his car for cash. The fact was that the snitch had kept records of the payoffs and they matched date and dollar to Davis's subpoenaed bank deposits. A conviction and a maxed out prison term was the score.

I wonder if Chuck Davis every had anything to do with tropical fish maven Dr. Axelrod, now jailed in Germany and fighting to stay out a reach of Chris Christie?

I hope that Davis is off a parole for the terms were that he was not to come to Hudson County without informing the feds and was under no circumstances to contact anyone involved with politics. The feds saw Chuck Davis as a political kleptomaniac and the only cure was to keep him out of the candy store.

A little off to the side gem was that as head of the Sewerage Authority Davis bought for himself a Corvette -- billed to the Sewerage Authority!

The Manzo organization is starting to look more and more like the McGreevey administration. There's Danny who gets high $$$ jobs for who can say why. As Benny Hill used to say, "It's hard to put your finger on it -- It is for me anyhow." Now known criminal politicians are brought into the circle. Plus, Lou Manzo's OWN BROTHER was actually in on a shady stock deal with McGreevey's very own long time right hand man, Gary Taffett.

Manzo must come clean. Is this crew working for you? If yes, protect the public and GET RID OF THEM NOW!
