I'm glad that we can be civil and disagree.

You're right on several points:
1-This city IS growing at a fast pace and fresh ideas are badly needed! I cannot say that I have heard any fresh ideas from Ms. Flood. I've seen her on 2 debates so far and she's failed to impress me by offering any fresh alternatives. So far, her biggest claim is that she's carrying on Cunningham's legacy. That's probably correct however, that's not a fresh idea.

2-All the candidates, including Ms. Flood have issues that needs to be given serious thought. As far as a candidate being gay...well, that does not affect office however that candidate's association with someone else is a serious red flag (IMO).

3-She might have the city's best interest at heart where the other candidates don't but she's failed to show me that. She's shown me that if she wins, she will continue what Cunningham was doing i.e. dividing the city along racial lines and giving control of Jersey City to the "brain trust". I personally don't think that we can afford to let them back in power.

I do encourage you to vote which ever way you choose as I would encourage every American to vote the way that they chose. I don't agree that Ms. Flood has the fresh ideas to stop what is happening in Jersey City. I see her continueing the war with Menendez (whom I do not like) and that is her biggest liability in my opinion.

Let's do keep this discussion civil and I await your response.

: I beg to differ. I think that the video truck represents some fresh new Ideas. This city is growing at a fast pace and this is the kind of futuristic thinking we need to keep moving ahead. All the other candidates are either a drunk, gay, an uncle tom, a crook it's just sickning. And none of it really matters. I have NEVER heard her name in any kind of scandle. I believe she truly has the city's best intrests at heart. These other guys don't and they have proved it. She definitely has my vote and nobody can change that FACT.
