Just because someone introduces a motion on something does not automatically mean that they are voting for it. Sometimes, things are introduced just to kill it. If Healy was convinced that he had the votes to kill something off, he could introduce it for a vote just to kill the measure. There's no flopping here...just the way the system works. : Err, Manzo publicly went on the record against abatements for developers, but there was a councilmen by the name of Jerry healy who introduced the motion to approve the Flintkote abatement only to then vote against it. Did he learn his skills from the Flip flopper of the year - john kerry? : Was this the actions of a man of integrity? is he as bigoted as the person who posted the last message?
