JERSEY CITY- One week after HESS unveiled its new collector's vehicle in the likeness of the 2004 Lipski Mobile Kenner Toy Corporation ripped the Steve Lipski action figure from stores on Central Avenue this Tuesday due to various complaints that the figure resembled North Korea's sinister leader Kim Jung Il.
The Lipski figure was one of five toys put on the market by Kenner for the Councilman Carnage line. Another toy, "Jimmy King Kung Fu" is wildly popular among children due to it's rapid finger poking action.
"The Lipski doll wasn't exactly what we would call a big seller" says one toy store owner who wished to remain anonymous.
"It didn't really do anything. You could feed it. But that's about all. At least the Jimmy King doll had a swift karate chop. But the North Korea thing freaked everyone out. He looks just like the guy!"
Kenner as of yesterday could not be reached for comment.
